How and why I collect your information
I need to collect personal information about you to provide mortgage broking and related credit services. Wherever I can, I collect it directly from you, including through my website contact form, by phone, email, video call or in person, and from the documents you give me.
Sometimes I collect information from other sources, as the Privacy Act allows, but only where it’s reasonably necessary. For example, when:
- I collect information from third parties about a loan or lease you’ve asked me to help with
- I can’t reach you and rely on public information to update your contact details
- I exchange information with your legal or financial adviser or another representative
In some cases I may need to collect sensitive information, such as health information, on behalf of a lender while providing credit assistance. I’ll only do this with your consent.
If you send an enquiry through my website, I collect the details you enter in the form so I can contact you about it.

I also store information in cloud or other networked electronic storage. Because this kind of storage can be accessed from different countries over the internet, it isn’t always practicable to know which country your information may be held in.
Overseas organisations may be required to disclose information under a foreign law. In those cases, I’m not responsible for that disclosure.
Credit reporting
With your consent, I may act as an access seeker under section 6L of the Privacy Act to obtain credit information on your behalf from a credit reporting body. This helps work out which products may suit your requirements and circumstances. To do this, I may disclose details like your name, date of birth and address to the credit reporting body so it can match them to the information it holds.
Information about other people
If you give me information about someone else, such as a co-applicant, please let them know that I’ve collected it to provide my services, that I may share it as described on this page, and that they can contact me to access it or ask for a copy of this policy.
If you don’t provide information
If you don’t give me the information I ask for, I may not be able to help you with a loan, verify your identity or protect against fraud.
